When was the last time you allowed yourself to dream?
And when was the last time you actually followed through on one?
I used to think it was self indulgent to focus on my dreams.
I thought it was childish to even consider the dreams I had as a little girl.
I kept them to myself.
I believed making dreams come true was for some distant day in the future – not now, not yet.
And all of that kept me small.
Tired.
Disconnected from myself.
Prioritising everyone else but myself.
Eventually, it even led me to burnout.
Everything changed when I started working with a coach:
First with Dr. Amina Aitsi-Selmi MD PhD
Then with Rich Litvin
Now with Carol Williams
Amina taught me that prioritising myself and my dreams will not make me selfish or lazy – it would make me powerful.
Rich taught me to live as if the dream were already real – today, and every day.
Carol showed me that honouring even the “silliest” ideas could unlock authentic and limitless energy – for me, for my people, for my mission.
Now, I pass this wisdom to my clients.
Helping them bring their dreams to life is one of my favourite parts of the work as the Queen of Rest..
And what does rest have to do with making dreams a reality?
Well, when you’re rushing, living in chronic stress and exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed – there is no space nor time for making dreams reality, even connecting to what they truly are could be a challenge. When we access the right type of rest, we create space for what’s important, including our dreams.
